This light mauve organdy petticoat is suitable for the 1770 - 1780's and, despite its lightness, it gives the correct silhouette to silk petticoats or gowns. 
 
It's fastened on the sides with strings and has side slits to allow you to reach your pocket/pockets; all the finishing details are hand-stitched.
The petticoat is pleated around the waist and has a pleated flounce all around to give extra fullness to the bottom of the petticoat. 
As depicted, it needs to be worn over a false rump that you can find here. 
 
This petticoat is made of mauve polyester organdy, but still very breathable and nice to the touch, and pink cotton doubled with the mauve organdy for the decorative stripes.
The mauve fabric has small defects in its weaving that are not visible while worn due to the fabric lightness: since in my business I try to avoid fabric waste as much as possible, I have decided to not discard the fabric and offer this petticoat at a reduced price.
Since it is a finished garment it is not possible to make any alteration on it.

The garment can be washed by hand at low temperature or dry cleaned, it can be ironed at low temperature preferably with a vertical steamer.
