This petticoat is suitable for the 1770 - 80's and it's made of a golden light olive green silk embroidered taffeta.
It is pleated around the waist and has a hand sewn box pleated flounce; the flounce isn't only a decoration, it also gives extra fullness to the bottom of the petticoat. 
The petticoat fastened on the sides with strings and has side slits to allow you to reach your pocket/pockets; all the finishing details are hand-stitched.
 
It can be worn over a petticoat like it's depicted in the photos and videos, or it can be worn as a base layer for your gown. In any case this petticoat needs to be worn over a false rump to achieve the correct silhouette: you can add to your order the ready to ship false rump depicted in the listing.
Like the petticoat, this padded underpinning has been made following historical techniques and using hand stitching for all the finishing details.
It's made in a light green linen and cotton blend, while the padding is synthetic but still a breathable and anallergic material. The false rump is fastened on the front with strings.
 
Both the petticoat and rump were made as a sample piece for the shop, for this reason they are both offered at a reduced price.
